Website Revamp
I am pleased to say we have had a website revamp with a big thanks to one of our owners Euan, as I am definitely not the most knowledgeable when it comes to such jobs. Our old website was getting dated looking and its good to have something fresh.
It’s a quiet couple of weeks with runners for us but we send Slainte Mhath down to Newcastle tomorrow night to run in a 5f Novice, all being well she will get a handicap mark after this run ready for the turf season.
Our next entry is That’s Your Lottie who is in at Market Rasen next Tuesday, this is no long term plan but when I had a look at entries tracking on Wednesday it was looking like this race might cut up in to a small field. As she has ran well previously at Musselburgh I am hoping another sharpish right handed track will suit her.
The frustrating thing looking forwards over the next few weeks is the lack of opportunities for our two sprinters Nellie French and Rockley Point. Rockley Point has really looked to be coming back to himself over the past couple of weeks and Nellie French is looking spot on. I may have to enter them for a 65 at Newcastle next Friday which is really not ideal. Firstly I hate running them against each other, its really frustrating. And secondly in this race their normal partner Phil Dennis will be unable to ride due to the weight they will be allocated in the race.
Our horses that did not run on the all weather over the winter are all coming along nicely ready for the turf season kicking off in Scotland in the middle of April. This includes Gweedore, Spartakos and Elladora, they are all working away well ahead of their seasonal debuts.
