Abby Robertson
Abby is in her fourth full season at the yard and recently completed her NVQ 2 in Racehorse Care at The Scottish Racing Academy. Abby now has three seasons point to pointing under her belt and has turned into a super schooling jockey and work rider. Her favourite horse in the yard is Gweedore and she has built up a great relationship with him over the past few seasons. We are lucky to have such a knowledgeable and confident rider on the yard.
Casey Finlay
Casey joined us on work experience from The Scottish Racing Academy and when she graduated from her course we quickly snapped her up to stay in the yard. Casey has been with us for several years now and runs the yard side of the training, making sure the horses are happy and healthy. It is invaluable to have someone so conscientious on the yard when we are on exercise and away racing.
Mary Douglas
Mary spent time in the yard a few years ago before she headed to Australia to work and travel. We are thrilled that she has returned as a work rider as she is a huge asset to the yard both on horse back and on the yard. Mary has her own horse Hula and beloved pup Mumble to keep her busy in her free time.
Chloe Blaikie
Chloe spent her work experience with us while she was studying at The Scottish Racing Academy. We are very lucky that she has decided to stay at the yard as part of our yard based team. Chloe is a very sociable person and is a pleasure to work with and it has been amazing to see her grow both in confidence and knowledge in her time with us.
