Keeping Busy

Its been a busy few weeks but without many runners to show for it!

We had the owners of Samurai Sneddz in on Saturday morning (pictured) which was great. They watched him have a canter and then enjoyed a good breakfast and we watched back his three runs so far. He received a sensible mark of 56 and we are looking forwards to heading towards handicaps with him.

We had two entries for Newcastle tomorrow but they unfortunately do not go due to the ground being on the fast side of good. Hard to believe up north in November. That meant our only runner this week was That's Your Lottie at Ayr yesterday. It was a very warm race for the class and she disappointed slightly but in hindsight she maybe didn't fully stay the trip on the galloping track and I perhaps ran her a week too quickly.

I have been busy working away with our two Tattersalls book 3 yearling purchases as well (pictured above). Working with young horses is something I really enjoy, both are showing super temperaments and taking everything in their stride. The chestnut is a Dandy man filly for Making Headway Racing and the bay is a Dawn Approach filly for Lamont Racing. They are both long reining and lunging like pros and will be ready for backing soon. Both have shares available!

No runners planned until Ayr next Monday!
