A GREAT WEEKEND AT MUSSELBURGH

What a fantastic weekend we enjoyed at Musselburgh.

The Saturday seen us head up with Spartakos who lined up in the 6.50 under Sam James. We have always known this horse has ability to win a few races but his buzzy attitude has made life a little tricky for him of late. However he rewarded the patience of his owners Making Headway Racing by hosing up in fine style, he really appreciated a bit of cut in the ground as well.

On the Sunday we headed back up with Gweedore who had a favourites chance and duly obliged for Lamont Racing under a fine ride by Jason Hart also appreciating getting his toe in the ground. We also ran Mr Luigi who looked tripless and has since been retired. Both Mr Luigi and Gweedore picked up prizes for being Best Turned Out.

Our next runner is Elladora who lines up at Hamilton on Sunday and will hopefully have a live chance after finishing second last time out at Carlisle.

Back on the yard we have been busy and have a few National Hunt horses ready top hit the track when the rain comes. We also have a handful of horses that will be ready for a winter campaign on the All Weather including past AW scorers Rockley Point, The Mackem Torpedo and Nellie French. Rockley Point will be the first of those to hit the track with a possible entry at Newcastle next Friday on the cards for him.
