Fresh Ponies

Horses were fresh and happy for a few days enjoying the spring weather but we seem to have quickly taken a step back to damp and cloudy days.  The picture is of Knocklayde who is feeling exceptionally well within himself.Another lovely run from Lochalsh yesterday who stayed on for fourth at Sedgefield despite finding the conditions a little of the sharp side, he loves his racing and always tries his heart out whatever the circumstances.  We have a few horses in the yard that are ready to step out for a run but would enjoy conditions slightly drier under foot.  Very frustrating now that we are swiftly heading into April.  We will have entries at Carlisle and Newcastle next week!
