AYR AND MUSSELBURGH

Another beautiful morning to be out on the hills, unfortunately looks like we could be in for a series of soakings tomorrow.Mixed week with the runners, Bolton Blue showed improvement and potential at Ayr on Tuesday as did Herecomesnelson who ran on well for third in a race that turned into a bit of a sprint. Galleons Way put in an excellent display of front running only to be beat by the top weight he was lugging round in the final furlong. It was a great performance though after over a year away from the track.Kalastar and Benefit In kind both unsuited by tiring going and will hopefully get their chance on decent ground soon.Quiet week now but we will hopefully be at Alnwick on Sunday, weather dependent of course but that seems to be the ongoing theme of this season.
