JANUARY 17TH, 2016

We've had a bitter few days topped off with a couple inches of snow last night but we are so lucky to have the use of so much 'old turf' that its not a problem keeping the horses ticking away through the extreme weather. All the staff and helpers have been real troopers this week keeping going despite the inevitable chill blains and numb fingertips that go along with riding out in the sub zero temperatures. All of this weeks runners were out for a couple of canters this morning and we have all our fingers and toes crossed for the fixtures at Ayr, Musselburgh and Alnwick. The rest of the yard have enjoyed their hour out relaxing in the field with the added fun of the snow.horse in snow covered field
