Easter Weekend

We head in to Easter Saturday at Musselburgh with two planned runners. Gweedore lines up for Lamont Racing at 2.04 and is up in Grade, he would have preferred more rain and may find the 7 round there on good ground a little on the sharp side but will hopefully give a good account of himself. Spartakos (pictured) then lines up at 4.57 for Making Headway Racing, he would likely have preferred a bit more rain as well but we are looking to get a run under his belt before a more suitable option for him at the end of the month.

This will be a first outing for our new Outlander lorry which was delivered from Antrim this week, I am thrilled with the build and spec on the lorry and can’t wait to get it out on the road. Outlander are going to take over our yard sponsorship from June 1st and I am very excited to be involved with such a professional company.

It was a hard week at the yard as it always is when there is an empty stable. Celtic Dancer, or Joey as he was lovingly known on the yard was not with us for long but he was a very kind horse that slotted in well to the routine at Lindean. He was a favourite ride for many including myself and will be much missed by everyone involved.
