An ITV Winner!!!!!

The turf season was kicked off in fine style for us at Musselburgh on Saturday where Gweedore won a class 2 in fine style live on ITV. It was fantastic to see him progress again and pick up a nice bit of prize money for his loyal owners. Andrew Breslin took off a handy 3lb and gave him a fine ride to land the spoils. He was led up by Abby who rides Gweedore most days and is definitely his biggest fan. This is the biggest winner we have had to date and it was fabulous to do it in front of a Scottish Crowd.

Spartakos also lined up at Musselburgh, he weakened in the final two furlongs having a blow and will definitely come on a lot for the run. He jumped out the stalls and travelled with enthusiasm before tiring.

Last week we took our two year olds away from home for the first time on Friday. We took them to Paul Robson’s who trains about 15 miles from us. It was a great experience for our youngsters, not only a gallop in a strange environment but also experience travelling in the lorry. They were very well behaved and they worked well to! We took along Samurai Sneddz as well for the trip out.

This week we have Colinton entered up at Catterick on Wednesday, it will be interesting to see the declarations tomorrow with a certain Triumph Hurdle winning Pentland Hills among the entries!!
