Colinton Wins At Catterick

We had a fantastic day at Catterick on Wednesday where Colinton broke his duck on the turf by winning for the third time this year. He travelled a bit free but was well managed by Jason Hart and delivered with a fine run up the home straight. It is fantastic for his owners Alison and Scott (Star Racing) who also bred him, so they can be extra proud of everything he has achieved.

We were lucky to have Claire Dowling into the yard with her camera this week. Claire is a keen photographer and is also an owner with URSA Major racing. Here is a picture she took of Gweedore in his winning rug alongside our new two stall which is made by our new sponsor Overlander. Our new 3 year sponsorship deal commences on 1st June and is an exciting venture for the yard.

Abby heads to Overton on Saturday with her own Arbruce where she will line up in the restricted. Hopefully he puts in another solid run for her having won at the track last time out.

The week ahead is looking quiet on the runners front. Our next entries are at Musselburgh on Wednesday night but we would be hoping for a bit of rain before then. Then we plan to head to Hamilton with a few next Sunday.
