Western Lass

We head to Kelso tomorrow with Western Lass first time out in the bumper.  Ground will be very hard work and there are a couple of highly fancied runners in the race but she has a handy weight and will hopefully give a good account of herself. We had Knocklayde at Carlisle last week and despite jumping slowly and badly left he ran on to pass a couple in the home straight.  We have been working hard on his jumping this week and some of the exercises seem to be helping him.  He seems to have lost his confidence over hurdles but hopefully we can get him back in tip top form, as they say practice makes perfect. We have had a fair of interest in the shares available in our Daylami filly Niamh but there are still some available if anyone is interested.  All our shareholders so far are having their first venture into race horse owning and it looks like it will be a fun partnership!
