Stoney Rover

Wednesday was a special day at Hexham when Stoney Rover defied an odds on shot to come home first in the novice hurdle for Fiona, Kenny and Davey Telfer. Purchased from the GOFFS HIT August sales ‘Louis’ as he is know at home has settled in brilliantly at the yard and after his promising run at Ayr it was great to see him follow that up with a convincing win.  Stephen gave him a lovely ride and we feel this big raw 5yo could improve again and we are excited to get him back out on the track.Getaway Gerry has been doing some schooling work over the last couple of weeks and is proving quite the natural over a hurdle so we are looking forwards to getting him back out and he will be enetered for Newcastle on Saturday.  We also have Herecomesnelson in at Ayr on Thursday where he can hopefully improve on his 3rd last time out.We have now got Western Lass back cantering after time off for an injury and all being well she will be back on the track early 2019.  She has been a big miss as we have always thought a lot of her and it’s exciting to have her back on the go.
