September

Rockley Point has done us proud and found his best form over his last two runs with two close seconds.  A good run at Carlisle under Bruce Lynn only to get nabbed on the line by a horse that was formally pretty decent and back down to a handy mark gave us the idea to try him over 5 furlongs at Hamilton on Friday.  Here he done us proud again finishing second to a hot favourite that was a shoe in off its old Irish form.  Danny seems to be enjoying the easy ground and loved the hill at both Carlisle and Hamilton.  I am looking at options to get him back out again in the next fortnight.  It has left us still searching for our first flat winner, but we are getting closer!Frustrating week with Rory's Valentine who is doing everything right at home.  Firstly she was entered at Cartmel, they received a deluge of rain turning the ground unsuitably soft for her and then the dry weather on the east resulted in good to firm ground at Sedgefield so she couldn't take that option up either. The horses at home are all looking fantastic and working away nicely, we should have plenty to go to war with from October onwards.
