Our Owners Day and First Flat Winner!

Yesterday was a very happy day at Hamilton with Rockley Point giving us our first win on the level, no one deserved it more than the horse himself after knocking on the door for the past few weeks.  He has given his syndicate loads of fun and I am very excited for a spring campaign on soft ground now we know him better. He had never ran on the soft (northern soft) before his 2nd at Carlisle and he has shown that he relishes these conditions. Hopefully we can recruit a couple more flat horses on to the yard now to keep him company.We had a very successful owners day last Sunday, with Thomas Wilmott and Stephen Mulqueen coming in to school and canter the horses while everyone watched on.  Our owners are fantastic and are the most important part of Katie Scott Racing so it was good to catch up with everyone.  It was also great for everyone to mingle and chat about the upcoming NH season, also plenty of food and cups of tea!!We are hoping to head to Perth this Thursday with Rory’s Valentine in the last, and then look to Kelso to really get the NH season kicked off. Rain would be welcome!!!
