Normality
It looks like we could be heading back to a more normal lifestyle this month, shops and restaurants opening and just great to have some owners back to the yard and along to the races to see their horses run. This Saturday we had some of the owners from Making Headway Racing down to see Spartakos who is back in full work after a short break and will hopefully be back on the racetrack mid May (rain please!!!!). Nellie French and Elladora are still enjoying a break and will be brought back to work in a couple weeks ready for a summer and backend campaign. We have a couple of National Hunt horses that I would love to give another run to before they head to grass but we are looking for a bit of rain for them in the coming weeks, hard to believe just how wet things were just a few short months ago.We had a new arrival in the yard in the shape of Annie (pictured) who we have been busy backing and riding away over the past fortnight. She is a strong looking 3yo by Mayson who I am pleased with so far, hopefully she shows plenty of potential and will be out racing in the backend. This week we had a couple entered which had reasons not to take up their engagements which has been frustrating but we have Rockley Point declared at Musselburgh on Thursday, any rain would be appreciated by him.
