MINUS 12!!!

Difficult past few days on the yard with temperatures reaching a punishing minus 12.  Not pleasant to be working outside in.  However fabulous staff have kept the show on the road, horses exercised and we managed to keep our taps running which is an achievement in itself.First NH runners back tomorrow at Newcastle.  Both Herecomenelson and Rory's Valentine run in the first.  Frustrating having them both in there but Rory's Valentine has been redirected here after Kelso's abandonment at the weekend and it cant be avoided with a lack of opportunities for them over the next week.This morning we took our three year olds out for their first proper 'away' outing to Dryden riding school for an exercise in the indoor school.  They both behaved well and the experience will stand them in good stead when they head out for racecourse gallops and race day itself.
