GEARING UP FOR THE SEASON

Not long back from a week in the sun and cant wait for the forthcoming season.  Before I headed off I done a days judging Working Hunter Ponies at Dalkeith County show which was a great experience that I enjoyed very much.  Met lots of charming young riders, some on well behaved ponies and some absolute devils that would definitely be placed in the character building category.We have half our horses for the forthcoming season in walking and the other half have next Monday pencilled in as D Day!! We look forwards to seeing how newcomer Chain Of Beacons settles into the yard.  He has been purchased by the Gillie family and looks a great addition to the yard.  There are a few other new faces to look forwards to and also a couple back after missing a season through injury which is fantastic.
