Annie is a 4 year old chestnut filly by Mayson out of Ofelia.

Annie has had three runs at Newcastle, with the first not going to plan. Her next two runs she took two big steps forward, beaten 7 lengths when giving every rival 17 lbs. She them moved on to turf for the first time, and finished 5/7, beaten 5 lengths. Her next run at Hamilton she finished second, before then going one better at Ayr to shed her maiden tag, winning by 2½ lengths. She has since scored again winning and Hamilton

Mayson is proving himself to be a top soft ground sprinting stallion, highlighted by the wins of Oxted and Rohaan and last years Royal Ascot meeting. Although her mother didn’t show much on the track, she is a sister to no less than 7 winners.
