The Beast From The East

The theme of our 2017/18 campaign has continued with another spate of abandonments.  What has initially looked like could be a busy weeks racing has instead resulted in looking like our earliest chance of a runner will be a trip south to Wolverhampton on Monday.  We have out fingers crossed that Kelso get the chance to rearrange their lost fixture.It is going to be a testing few days on the yard with the Met Office issuing their first ever 'Red Warning' across the Scottish Borders,  the snow has never relented today but we managed to get all the horses safely exercised and they are happily tucked up in their stables.We had a spot of excitement last week when Rockley Point was narrowly denied a win at Newcastle.  He would have been our first flat winner, hopefully we can keep him in good form and he can score for us soon!
