A Great Start for Knocklayde

Its been an up and down few weeks to say the least.  Calton Entry made a fantastic debut for us at Sedgefield last week and was making the frame when he unseated at the last fence.  Very frustrating but great to see him put in a good performance for his owners who are newcomers to the sport.Ayr on Monday was a very mixed day.  Galleon's Way gave us all a heart stopping moment when taking a heavy fall but I am so glad to say he seems none the worse for his exploits.I am glad to say the day improved after that and we were thrilled with Knocklayde's racecourse debut.  He finished 4th and ran a strong race despite being in against horses with  more experience and he should definitely improve from the run.  The members of the Jackson Partnership who own him are all first time racehorse owners and had a fantastic day at Ayr, a racecourse where owners are so well looked after.  One of his owners elected to sponsor him and he looked fantastic in his sponsors rugs and with his new colours, so a massive thank you must go to Ferguson Planning for supplying them.  http://fergusonplanning.co.uk/  if anyone is interested in the fantastic work Tim and his colleagues do, our house would never have been built with out his amazing help!
